You have found a hotel you like, the price looks right, and you are almost ready to book. There is just one catch: hotel prices do not stand still.
A good rate today might fall tomorrow or next week. It might also rise. Most travelers book and stop checking. REIR is built around a different approach to finding and following hotel prices.
Demand, room availability, promotions, travel dates and the booking seller can all affect hotel prices. Finding a hotel does not mean a better offer cannot appear later.
You could revisit Booking, Trip.com, Agoda and other sites every day. But who really wants another daily task?
After finding a hotel through REIR, you can activate a free Hotel Watch. REIR checks the price during the active monitoring period instead of leaving every repeat search to you.
If REIR detects a hotel price drop during that period, it can notify you. Monitoring does not guarantee a drop or detection of every change.
A FREE Hotel Watch lasts up to 7 days or until check-in, whichever comes first. If check-in is three days away, the watch ends then, not after a full week. It gives you another window to see whether the rate you found still suits your plans.

That is the idea behind Trip Guard. Imagine finding a hotel for a trip in 60 days. The free Hotel Watch covers the beginning of that period, but there is still time before your trip when it ends. Prices can keep changing in the meantime.
Trip Guard is being developed for that gap. It is not yet an active service you can buy.
Trip Guard is a product we are developing at REIR for longer hotel price monitoring. The idea is simple: find the hotel, then let REIR keep following its price.
Instead of stopping at the free window of up to 7 days, Trip Guard is intended to extend monitoring until check-in. The goal is to spare you the need to repeat the same search week after week. This describes the planned service, not an extension available today.
We are testing a planned price of ₪39 per trip, as a one-time payment. Not a monthly subscription and not a charge for every price check: one intended payment for extended monitoring of that trip.
Trip Guard is not available to purchase yet. It is Early Access / Coming Soon. There is currently no checkout, no charge and no activation of Trip Guard entitlement. Registering interest does not extend your existing FREE Watch.
No. REIR does not automatically cancel or rebook a hotel. Its purpose is to help you notice a price change.
If a better offer appears, you decide what to do, subject to your booking and cancellation terms. Compare the room, meals, taxes and cancellation conditions before changing a reservation, not just the headline amount.
You can. As with delivery or stock-price notifications, the challenge is not whether you can check. It is remembering to do it. If your trip is three months away, repeating the search every day may not be realistic.
